Camp
Since diabetes affects the whole family, it only makes sense to have a camping program for the whole family. Whether you’re tackling the ropes course, playing kickball, or singing around the campfire, we encourage you to make camp your home and build new and lasting family friendships. Counselors will ensure that kids are safe and have a great time, while adults attend the various breakout sessions. Licensed and trained medical staff will provide diabetes supervision when kids are away from their parents. Children are with their families for all meals, snacks, family free time, and entertainment.
We have partnered with Camp Sunshine to provide another opportunity for families living with a child with Type 1 Diabetes
